THE SIGNALIZATION OF ROADS OUTSIDE BUILT-UP AREAS
DE WEGWIJZERING VAN WEGEN BUITEN DE BEBOUWDE KOM
The responsibility of the government as the administrator of the road covers many aspects such as uniformity, continuity, planning, location, administration and maintenance. For signalization certain conditions are requisite: recognisability, conspicuity, orientation and indication, legibility and interpretation, integration in the road design and continuity. Each of these conditions is described. Juridical, international and economical aspects are given. /TRRL/
