THE LOGIT-MODEL--ITS JUSTIFICATION AND APPLICABILITY

HET LOGIT-MODEL--EEN STRAK KEURSLIJF OF NIET

This paper deals with some theoretical and practical problems which arise in applying disaggregate ligit models in transportation research. Solutions are proposed for a number of these problems, in particular those concerning the axiom of independence from irrelevant alternatives and the aggregation issue. For an explanation of the practical consequences of these solutions an illustrative example is given. /Author/TRRL/
