A CONSIDERATION OF DIRECT DEMAND AND EQUILIBRIUM MODELS
EEN BESCHOUWING OVER DIRECTE VRAAG--EN EVENWICHTSMODELLEN
The paper is concerned with direct demand and equilibrium models. It is necessary to use consistent variables in the supply and demand models to be able to define the state of equilibrium. The aggregated hypothesis will be handled in detail. Application of equilibrium restraints on the traditional demand model gives an insight into the relationship between traffic planning, development in transportation demand, regional development and planning. The models have been developed to allow for more flexibility in problem definition in the field of traffic and transportation demand. /Author/TRRL/
