TRANSFERABILITY OF A DISAGGREGATE MODE-CHOICE MODEL FOR HOME-WORK-TRIPS
OVERDRAAGBAARHEID VAN EEN NIET-GEAGGEGEERD MODEL VAN DE VERVOERS--WIJZEKEUZE IN HET WOON-WERK-VERKEER
Under contract to the Projectbureau Integrale Verkeers- en Vervoersstudies of Rijkswaterstaat (the Dutch Water Control and Public Works Department) an investigation into the problems of applying the disaggregate mode-choice model for home-work-trips, developed in a previous study, to different geographical areas is made. The collection of the level-of-service data is described in some detail. It is argued that this collection of data is one of the biggest problems in the use of disaggregate models and that perhaps some alternatives are available. /TRRL/
