CROSS ACCELERATION IN COMBINED TRANSPORT

SEITENBESCHLEUNIGUNGEN IM KOMBINIERTEN LADUNGSVERKEHR

The Federal Transport Minister and the DB have asked the Institute for Vehicle Technology at the Brunswick Technical University to study the stability of road vehicles on low-deck cars and that of containers and swap bodies on various DB cars. Measurements have been made for various speeds on first and second category DB lines. The author reports the results obtained and draws conclusions.
