SURFACE DRESSINGS. A RENEWAL OF THEIR USE. WHY, HOW?
L'ENDUIT SUPERFICIEL "UN VETERAN SE RECYCLE, POURQUOI, COMMENT?"
The author analyzes the reasons for the decline and the revival of surface dressings. Results obtained with most recent experiments on heavily-trafficked roads with binders, aggregates, mix-design, equipment and laying are given together with quality control findings. The article deals only with conventional surface dressings or slightly improved conventional surface dressings containing bituminous binders or polymer. /TRRL/
