ICEBREAKING QUARTET FROM NOBISKRUG

The 15,954 tdw product tanker "Lunni" has a length oa of 164.45 m, a beam of 22.20m, a draft of 9.50 m, and is powered by twin MaK type 12M551 AK diesel engines each developing 7,800 bhp at 425 rpm giving a service speed of 14.5 knots. Cargo capacity is 16,886 m3. The double- hulled "Lunni" is designed for year-round service transporting refinery products in Finnish coastal waters. She is equipped with Waertsilea's air bubble system and an icebreaker stem to enable her to penetrate the ice in winter without assistance.
