POLARIZED LIGHT FOR VEHICLE HEADLAMPS
The problems of lighting the road ahead without causing glare to the opposing driver are described, together with the advantages of polarized headlights for this purpose. The organization and conduct of a possible large-scale public trial or demonstration of polarized headlights for motor vehicles is described. Cost alternatives, legal constraints, administrative management, public relations, traffic safety benefits, and technical design criteria, are discussed in detail.(a) /TRRL/
