OPTIMUM DESIGN BY GRAPHS, OF THE LAYERS OF A FLEXIBLE PAVEMENT
OTTIMIZZAZIONE GRAFICA DEGLI STRATI DI UNA PAVIMENTAZIONE STRADALE FLESSIBILE
A procedure is described for determining the most adequate thickness for each layer of a flexible pavement, taking account of the working cost of available materials. From this procedure graphs are developed for the complete design of a pavement. The method described is claimed to reduce the number of variables in play when considering the various types of flexible pavement design. /TRRL/
