EFFECT OF BINDER TYPE AND AIR VOID CONTENT ON THE FATIGUE AND PERMANENT DEFORMATION PERFORMANCE OF LABORATORY AND FIELD COMPACTED MIXES
This paper presents the results of an extensive set of testing during formulation and quality control stage using the repetitive simple shear test and the four point flexural fatigue test. These tests were performed to compare the performance of four types of binders (one a pure bitumen, two polymer modified binders and one chemically modified binder). For the covering abstract see ITRD E107185.
