STABILITY CALCULATIONS FOR OFFSHORE GRAVITY STRUCTURES
This paper contains a general discussion of bearing capacity stability calculations for offshore gravity structures founded on clay deposits. An alternative to the present methods called the slip surface method is presented and a parameter study is described. Comparison is made with other methods. The applicability of the different methods is discussed and evaluated.
