GENERAL PROBLEMS OF OFFSHORE SUPPLY-VESSELS STABILITY
With the sudden expansion in oil prospection, the number of supply vessels is increasing rapidly. The intact stability of supply vessels, as well as their damage stability, and freeboard, raise many special problems that require detailed investigation. The special operating conditions and design of supply vessels are given in an effort to emphasize the need for national rules and international regulations. The dangers that face supply vessels and the solutions being sought are detailed.
