TABLE OF COMPARATIVE MARITIME ARBITRATION PROCEDURES
This table was prepared from some of the answers to a questionnaire which was circulated to participants of the Third International Congress of Maritime Arbitrators. For purpose of easy comparison, the table has been constructed to indicate the state of practice generally, ignoring exceptions covering unusual situations. Moreover, it is assumed that in many, if not most instances, the parties have the capability to alter their rights and remedies by express provisions in the arbitration clause.
