CARGO HANDLING SIMULATORS
The paper describes the function performed by tanker cargo handling simulators, such as ballasting and deballasting operations, inert gas function, stripping, venting, reballasting, tank cleaning, and handling of abnormal situations. Also included is a state-of-the-art review of tanker cargo handling simulator developments in Japan and other countries (in connection with the building of such ships as the Mitsuminesan Maru and Tottori Maru.
