ALLOCATION OF QUALITY CONTROL RESOURCES
Results are presented from a field study designed to evaluate the population parameters of a number of attributes of some road construction materials. The distributions of property values thus established have been used to define a procedure by which available quality control resources can be assigned most advantageously. This use has required an assessment of the relative significance of each property to the long-term performance of a road pavement.
