A VIBRATING WIRE BOREHOLE INCLINOMETER
A vibrating wire borehole inclinometer, designed expressly for a landslide investigation, is described. Details are given of its calibration, and of its field performance, both in locating the shearing layer in an active landslide, and in checking the repeatability by successive surveys of a stable borehole. The associated hardware for casing the borehole is also described. /Author/
