TORFLO

Torflo is a new high performance antifouling product which can attain a degree of smoothness of better than 25 microns. Extensive testing showed Torflo to be resistant to the settlement of enteromorpha. The prime advantage of the product is that it is time saving. The system itself is uncomplicated and needs no special equipment for application. Torflo is sacrificial in action and is formulated to ensure a uniform smoothness being retained thus avoiding film degradation. This article provides a review of antifoulings in general and the development of Torflo in particular. The economic benefits of Torflo are emphasized.
