WEATHER CHART RECORDER CAN AID IN PROPER SHIP ROUTING
A small marine weather chart recorder for use on both small and large vessels is described. The recorder provides vessels with facsimile charts depicting data on atmospheric and wind conditions, sea conditions, storm movement and ice floes. The information available on these maps can help vessel operators avoid or prepare for storms, tropical depressions, squalls and fog, thereby reducing hazards to personnel and minimizing damage to ship and cargo.
