ON THE PROBABILISTIC ORIGIN OF DIAL'S MULTIPATH TRAFFIC ASSIGNMENT MODEL
Dial's multipath traffic assignment model is interpreted as a probabilistic choice model. Anomalies in path assignments generated by dial's algorithm are related to the independence-of-irrelevant alternatives axiom.(a) /TRRL/
