CAPACITY OF LATERAL STORMWATER INLETS
The paper describes a numeric method for calculating the interception capacity of lateral kerb inlets of prescribed lengths. It discusses the proposition that on moderate to steep road gradients capacity can be substantially improved by incorporating an extended length of depressed gutter up-stream of the inlet. Design charts for road crossfalls of between two per cent and six per cent are included.(a) /TRRL/
