COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN SYSTEM FOR SITE LAYOUT

A computer-aided design system is presented which allows a site layout to be developed, containing three-dimensional design features. The most important features of this class are roads and buildings. Interaction with a three-dimensional model is achieved by means of a two-dimensional graphics system and its associated devices. The analyses which may be carried out on the computer model of the site are outlined.(a) /TRRL/
