EFFICIENT USE OF DIGITAL ROAD MAP IN VARIOUS POSITIONING FOR ITS
In this paper, the authors present a map matching approach involving digital mapping which can improve positioning accuracy by correcting a vehicle's position. The approach, which uses biased error model and Kalman filtering, can be applied to Global Positioning System (GPS) navigation as well as code division multiple access (CDMA) location.
