ASSESSMENT OF TRAFFIC SAFETY PROBLEMS WITH NEWLY QUALIFIED DRIVERS
CONTRIBUTION AU DIAGNOSTIC DES PROBLEMES DE SECURITE ROUTIERE DES CONDUCTEURS DEBUTANTS
Newly qualified drivers are disproportionally involved in road traffic accidents. This term study, with 10 young drivers, which lasted 14 months, is founded on critical and near accidents, in an attempt to elucidate the problems of newly qualified drivers. This new method consists in using the information that the driver gives himself, as he is placed, in the situation of privileged driver. This method allows the author to show the most flagrant deficiencies of the driving education and the stage after obtaining a driving license. This method, which seems to be interesting in the road safety field should be used with profit in other sectors of human activity. /Author/
