DESIGN AND USE OF OPEN-GRADED FRICTION COURSE ASPHALT FOR ROAD SURFACING
This paper outlines design methods used overseas, the laying of trial sections in 1974 and 1975 and the resurfacing of portion of the Tullamarine Freeway in Melbourne with open-graded friction course asphalt. Some practical aspects of laying the asphalt and general information is presented. /Author/
