DESIGN AND USE OF ASPHALT MIXES

This paper traces the history of asphalt mix design by the Country Roads Board, Victoria. Design properties and field performance are examined and trends established. Amendments, made to design criteria to overcome performance deficiencies, are high-lighted and design limits for Victorian conditions are suggested. /Author/
