THE FORGOTTEN PUMP
The eductor is a pump which performs low head dewatering operations at a greater rate of discharge than may be obtained from emergency pumping equipment. It is also used in the pumping of contaminated liquids. A description of the eductor, including diagrams, is provided. Type of portable eductors used by the Coast Guard are listed.
