PRODUCTION AND ACCURACY OF SIMULTANEOUSLY SCANNED STEREO-ORTHOPHOTOS

The simultaneous production of an orthophoto and its stereomate on a modified SFOM Orthophotographe has permitted attainment of the high accuracy of heighting that is inherent in the stereo-orthophoto process. This paper describes the modification that was made and presents the results of two tests of the horizontal and vertical accuracy of stereo-orthophoto pairs.
