ASBESTOS-ASPHALT SURFACING FOR DURABILITY OF ROAD SURFACES

This paper discusses the use of asbestos fibers in surface asphalt mixes in terms of increasing durability and skid resistance while minimizing maintenance. It includes an outline of the materials, batching, placing and the feed system of asbestos. /RTAC/
