THE EFFECT OF NOISE IN ROAD CONSTRUCTION OPERATIONS: A REVIEW
A revision of the naasra (1970) specification for permissible levels of noise emitted by plant is proposed. Conditions under which personal hearing protection may be advantageous are discussed and suggestions made whereby safety at construction sites may be improved. (A) /TRRL/
