CURRENT COLLECTION AT HIGH SPEED
After reviewing overhead line developments with the raising of speeds, the author discusses performances of present day catenaries and how they meet requirements. He then considers other current collection possibilities-without-contact methods, by capacity, magnetic induction, electromagnetic waves, laser ray, and electric arc.
