PORT SECURITY ASSESSMENT
The U.S. Coast Guard is responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments of seaports to terrorist attacks and make those results available to all appropriate public and private entities. The article reviews the efforts of the current port security assessment (PSA) before September 11, 2001, and provides an overview of the program that will result in measurable improvements.
