The paper's goal is to review the process of business globalization and to consider the implication for logistics while bringing more clarity to understanding both the strategic and the management issues. The paper emphasizes that the global logistics management implies the making of choices between options, with respect both to content and process. Considered are the implications of global logistics strategies for management, detailing the critical success factors which apply and highlighting the need for organizational change.
