RESEARCH ON THE METHOD USED IN PREDICTING THE TRAFFIC VOLUME OF NON-DETECTOR INTERSECTIONS
Based on the relative relationships that exist between the traffic volumes of intersections, this paper used three methods to predict the traffic volume of non-detector intersections and the results are examined by the traffic volume data of the road network of Changchun City. The problem of the traffic volume prediction of non-detector intersections is resolved which can be widely used in urban traffic flow guidance in cities without enough intersections equipped with detectors. Some theoretical basis for macroscopic management is also provided by this method.
