KINGSTON BIDS FOR CARIBBEAN TRANSSHIPMENT ROLE
Describes the port of Kingston's new container terminal, designed with the idea of becoming a container transshipment center for the Caribbean and not just a facility for Jamaica alone. So far it has no challengers but the long established container port of San Juan, Puerto Rico.
