ANALYSIS OF TIP VORTEX CAVITATION INCEPTION AT HYDROFOILS AND PROPELLERS

A theoretical analysis of the structure of the circulation distribution, the core radius, and the critical cavitation of hydrofoils is made. The effect of the aspect ratio is also investigated. Design considerations for propellers are also made.
