CUTLER REPAVER. A NEW CONCEPT IN PAVEMENT RESURFACING
This paper describes a new method of resurfacing asphalt pavements which entails the re-use of the existing in-place asphalt materials. The cutler repaver has been used for some years in the USA but has only recently been introduced into Europe. The problems and alternative solutions facing the road maintenance engineer are mentioned and the position of repaving as a maintenance method described. Applications in the UK and Europe are considered as well as possible future developments. /Author/TRRL/
