ROAD ASSIGNMENT - 2. THE GLTS MODEL
The pre-calibration development of a road assignment model for the Greater London Transportation Study (GLTS) model is described. Three major requirements were identified: capacity restraint, economy and secondary analysis; and their interaction lead to the eventual choice of an incremental loading method. The results of a series of quantitative tests on the former GLC model and certain refinements to the basic model are described. (A) /TRRL/
