PAVEMENT DESIGN ON LATERITIC CLAYS: IFE-BENIN CITY NIGERIA, TRUNK ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT
This paper discusses the design technique used to determine an economic pavement construction for a 115-mile (185-km) road over lateritic clays. The design called for using existing top 6 in. (15 cm) of existing road base as the subbase of the new road.
