ATTITUDES OF COMPANIES TOWARDS INTRODUCING CO-OPERATIVE FREIGHT TRANSPORT SYSTEMS
Cooperation within freight transport systems is one of the basic strategies of realising sustainable urban freight transport systems. This paper focuses on measures which have the potential for effectively leading companies to introduce cooperative freight transport systems. In order to clarify the relationship between those measures and the attitudes of companies towards introducing cooperative freight transport systems, covariance structure analysis was applied using the data collected by means of questionnaires. Results showed that construction of freight terminals plays an important role in encouraging cooperative freight transport systems.
