NEW ELECTRIC DUAL FREQUENCY LOCOMOTIVE FOR DB TYPE 181.2

In two parts this article describes the type 181.2 locomotive built by AEG/Telefunken and Krupp GMBH which can operate on single phase 15 kV, 16-2/3 Hz or 25 kV, 50 Hz. DB has 25 of these units.
