LE MODELE DE SIMULATION DE POLITIQUES DES TRANSPORTS

This simulation model for studying the main interaction between the different modes of transport takes account of: the distribution of passenger and freight traffic according to groups of destinations; developments in traffic flows; service quality characteristics (regularity, packing, speed, etc.); the type of markets depending on the size of the consignments; and the role of the public authorities. The first version of a model for passenger traffic has been prepared for the SNCF.
