RAILWAYS AGREE ERTMS SPECIFICATIONS
The specifications for the European rail traffic management system (ERTMS) have been agreed and signed by all railways in the ERTMS users' group, as well as the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), the International Union of Railways (UIC), and the Unisig group of European signalling companies. The article discusses the ways work is being accelerated on installing and commissioning ERTMS at trial sites and implementing the system commercially.
