PROSPECTS FOR IMPROVING VISION ON THE ROADS AT NIGHT

Possibilities for improved street lighting, automatic compensation for headlight aim, automatic headlight dimming, and polarized headlights are examined. The authors consider existing systems and ones with a capacity for development.
