SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE DESIGN OF MOTORWAYS CHAPTER VI - SIGNALIZATION
RICHTLIJNEN VOOR HET ONTWERPEN VAN AUTOSNELWEGEN HOOFDSTUK VI-BEWEGWIJZERING
Traffic flow on motorways is mainly determined by the provisions installed for the guidance of the road user. Signalization is an important and essential part of these provisions, in particular, traffic signs. The signalization along a road must be an integrated part of the highway design, which is itself closely related to the lay-out. In these recommendations emphasis is laid on the location of the traffic signs. In addition, some cases are described which are outside the scope of normal conditions. /TTRL/
