THE ECONOMICS OF CONTAINERISATION
Examines the viability of shipping lines and railway companies committing themselves to containerisation as a means of reducing operational costs by moving from labour intensive to capital intensive methods, and evaluates the impact of this on the transport operators' customers and the community in general.
