TRANS-NEW FOUNDLAND CORRIDOR TRANSPORTATION STUDY SUMMARY DOCUMENT
The study was concerned essentially with facilities and services for inter-community transportation along the primary trans-Island route which has been termed the "Corridor". The study objectives may be summarized as follows: to determine the extent and character of Corridor facilities and services available for inter-community transportation; to assess the adequacy (strengths and weaknesses) of the above facilities and services; to formulate alternative improvements to the Corridor Transportation System; to analyze and evaluate alternative improvements.
