CITY OF WINNIPEG PUBLIC TRANSIT STUDY. PROGRESS REPORT - 5 YEAR PROGRAM

Prior to the development of an improved system of public transportation for the City, studies were carried out to investigate the operational characteristics and utilization (or lack thereof) of the present system. As a result of these studies, the administration developed a 5 year plan for the improvement of public transit service for the City of Winnipeg. This report comments on the progress of the 5 year plan following the Guidelines and policy statements in developing plans for the growth and provision of related services for the City of Winnipeg.
