ADVANCE PATH MEASUREMENT FOR AUTOMOTIVE RADAR

This paper describes a method for measuring the path ahead of a host vehicle. The path is based on image processing techniques which use raw radar data. The method involves an advanced path measurement (APM) algorithm which can provide target range, velocity, vehicle position, road scenario type, and road path information ahead of the vehicle.
