COLLAPSIBLE CONTAINER
Tote Systems division, Hoover Ball and Bearing Company, Beatrice, Nebraska, has developed a 50-cubic-foot collapsible aluminum container. The boxes are made in light gauge, for loads of up to one ton, and in heavier guage, for two-ton capacity. The net weights are 131 pounds and 170 pounds, respectively. The outside dimensions of a standard model are 60"x44 3/4"x39 1/2". With plastic lids, the containers can be stacked two-high outdoors, with 14 empties making a stack less than eight feet tall.
