The 3936 gt cable repair ship "CS Monarch" has a length oa of 94.50 m, a beam of 15.00 m, a draft of 4.8 m and is powered by two British Polar type SF 116 VS nonreversing four stroke diesel engines developing 2600 bhp each at 750 rpm, giving a service speed of 15.5 knots. The vessel will work up to depths of 7000 m, and has four main cable tanks arranged along the center line, each with a diameter of 6100 mm and six auxiliary tanks arranged in the wings.
